For intimate occasions Thula Meetse Mystical Mountain Lodge offers a location with pure and simple abundance in regards to sharing remarkable occassions with special people.

Whether it is a wondrous mystical mountain wedding ceremony and reception for up to 36 people or a quiet romantic celebration for just two, this beautiful serene Lodge provides an ideal escape for memories to last a lifetime.

Situated approximately 2 hours from Johannesburg in the Waterberg Mountains with spectacular scenery, different exquisite settings and breathtaking venues provide the backdrop for your very own special occasion, complimented by personal service and imaginative romantic touches.

We will customise the arrangements to craft a delightful different and exclusive experience. From a Family reunion or special birthday celebration, to a luxury getaway or an adventure packed break with close friends.

Everything comes together beautifully to create unforgettable moments and memories.

Weddings

We cater for small intimate weddings with no more than 40 people. We will advise, guide you through every request or requirement, from reserving dates, planning the schedule, coordinate the event and assist with the flowers, photography, menus and table décor.

We will also help plan activities and excursions for the wedding party and any other aspects of the wedding experience.

Anniversaries

Celebrating special anniversaries or milestones at Thula Meetse Mystical Mountain Lodge will create new memories, indulge in a romantic waterfall picnic for two or a special candlelit dinner in the bush.

Birthdays

Invite your close friends or family to share in a special birthday celebration. We can accommodate your special birthday requests and can ensure that if the party is big enough it is completely exclusive.

Romantic Occasions

Getting engaged or just celebrating your love, we can provide a romantic setting and attention to ensure you rekindle the flame and enjoy a romantic interlude with your loved one.

Thula Meetse accommodates approximately 36 guests.

Our ten chalets can accommodate either two, four or six persons, not forgetting our honeymoon suite for those special occasions, or our secluded bush cottage.

The décor and furnishings of Thula Meetse Mountain Lodge are homely inspired and the rooms are equipped with both air-conditioning and/or ceiling fans.

All chalets are luxurious, fully equipped for self catering, and each chalet has its own private braai area.

Chalets are perfectly situated for privacy, but in close proximity to the swimming pool, restaurant and other activities.

• Exclusive use of the Lodge for your guests (if paid for 36 guests)
• Accommodation for up to 36 guests sharing (Saturday night only)
• Wedding ceremony in the garden (includes podium, chairs, rose petals confetti, wedding march music) excludes the cost of the minister
• Sherries & Juice after the ceremony served
• Wedding Celebration 3 Course Dinner for 36 guests – 3 menu’s to choose from (any other requests at an additional charge)
• Breakfast for 36 guests
• Tablecloths, overlays, candelabra's and serviettes from the lodge (other details or colour schemes at additional cost)
• Romantic Room & Turndown on Saturday night & cost of Sunday night accommodation & Sunday late afternoon Romantic Picnic Lunch at the Waterfall for the Wedding Couple

DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT PROCEDURES

• 50% Deposit, will serve to confirm your booking until 6 weeks prior to arrival
• Rates are quoted per person sharing
• The balance of the final account is to be settled 6 weeks prior to arrival
• Bar and extra’s account to be settled before departure
• VAT is included – Rates quoted in ZAR
• Prices are subject to change without notice.
• Children under 3 charged at full rate

CANCELLATION POLICY

Should you cancel once confirmed the following will apply:

• Cancellation 4 weeks prior to arrival a 50% cancellation fee will be charged
• Cancellation 2 weeks prior to arrival a 75% cancellation fee will be charged
• Cancellation a week prior to arrival the full amount due becomes payable.
• Please provide us with your agenda in regards to start times etc
• Please provide us with your Guest name List prior to Check-in
• Please provide us with your seating requirements for the conference
• Please provide us with your agenda or time schedule in order for us to ensure dinner and breakfast is on time
• Please provide us with special dietary requirements
• Please provide us with drinks list (this enables us to ensure that we are stocked with your guests preferred drinks.
